About Stock Tank Pool Products (STPP)

Stock Tank Pool Products is a family-owned business based on California's Central Coast, founded in 2020. We build pump kits, vacuums, and accessories designed specifically for stock tank pools — not adapted from spa parts or repurposed pond equipment, but engineered from the start for the galvanized or poly tank.

How STPP started

We set up our first stock tank pool and ran into the same problem everyone does: there was no good pump kit made for it. It was a struggle to find all the parts we needed, there was no "one-stop-shop" that had everything we needed. We designed our own system, tested it through a full season, and realized other new stock tank pool owners needed the same thing.

STPP launched in 2020 under HitchEngineering LLC with one product — the DIY Pump Kit — and has grown to include the DELUXE Bundle, the Blue-Water Vacuum V2, and supporting accessories. Everything ships from the Central Coast of California.

What makes STPP different

  • Built for stock tanks specifically. The strainer assemblies are sized for standard galvanized or poly tank wall thickness. The vacuum kit is designed to clean any size stock tank. We didn't adapt generic parts — we designed for the application.
  • Complete kits, not components. The DIY Kit includes every part needed for installation, including the hole saw. You shouldn't have to figure out what else to buy.
